No, but seriously... no worries on the gap, I'm rarely on dA myself. Still looking forward to seeing more submissions from you though. Riara-Winter doesn't have the same feel for some reason. But that's probably all illusion.

Yes, they are! Haha. I hate pictures of all of me though, macro is where it's at. I have far too many eye photos though.

Yeah, I got the camera and then they announced the release of the new version about two days later so I took it back and work let me swap when the new one came out. I don't have a macro lens for it yet though, just the kit lens and a 50mm. It's a very nice camera, but for macro things I have to use my crappy old compact still

I've been pretty tied up lately, so haven't responded until now. I guess "creepy and mysterious" is what came to mind when I read your sig... but also unique and inspired. That's why I liked it. And the same with the eyes. I'm now very curious about your perception of "beauty" and wherefrom those perceptions come.

Also, its nearly astonishing to now realize those are YOUR eyes. They do look like the eyes of a child, but not perhaps because of their youth, but because of the wonder in them, the darkness of them... and the innocence. My first thought was of a horror-movie-ish child-demon, an innocent succumbing to evil without realizing his/her plight. But now... I'm not so sure. I'd like to zoom out and see more. You've made me... curious, to say the least.

Anywho, I also read that you're getting a camera. You seem very excited. I look forward to see the fruits of that labor soon. Take care.

I love eyes, too. Thank you for that, I guess that's how I see it too, but nobody else has ever said it before so it was kinda hard to describe. Everyone else just says I look like a little kid

The darkness in those eyes mixes well with the sig, and since those are the only two things about you I could see they provide a powerful image, together. The thing is, in both the phrase and the image...

The darkness represents, to my perception... a spirit that is kindred to my namesake. Silently... Damned. A lost soul, hated, even evil as it has no sense of purpose or love or affection. And yet, in all the pain I see within, perhaps the slightest glimmer of discretion... a deep-seated, suppressed knowledge of right and wrong, of the potential for something better, a hope that is at once drowned and unquenchable.

Then again, I could be thinking way too much. I love eyes... they're so expressive.

Thank you so much! That comment really cheered me up I want to eventually get my signature tattooed on my back, but I think I'll translate it to Japanese first.

I'm working on stuff for my art account at the moment because I've just started it and there's nothing there yet. Now I've finally decided what I want to do with the accounts hopefully it'll be a bit easier. I'll do more photos soon though, I haven't for a while. I was waiting on a bit more light but I think the winter gloom is gonna stay.
